1. Who is the one person who influenced your art the most and how so?

Primitive arts and the Lascaux cave frescoes as influences – the art of early humans.  Max Beckmann and his strong black lines.

2. If you were to give advice to a rising and promising artist who is seeking Gallery representation what would you tell them?

Put together a solid, confident portfolio that conveys self-assurance to make a strong impression – an image that becomes definitive.

3. How did you shift from non-artistic background to being a prominent artist who is well respected among the masters?

Born an artist, with this fascination from the beginning – through life, circumstances meant that the passion fully and practically manifested later.

4. Your meticulous work is sometimes mistaken for being print, do you share your techniques with other artists and are you willing to share with them the meticulous work that you do in order to get your final product?

Each student or aspiring artist discovers and personally develops a technique that is uniquely their own.

5. We know you participated in many artist residencies, and in multiple exhibitions.  What would be your next major step, your dream to achieve?

Hope in a perpetual quest that allows for constant renewal and evolution in technique and style.  A desire to create a foundation dedicated to personal work, but also to the visual arts more broad – promoting arts and culture, especially painting.
